Why does a club install a cold plunge?
Recovery has become a key selling point for memberships: a cold plunge + sauna area justifies a premium package and retains the most regular members. For a recovery center, it is the treatment that is both the most in demand and the least labor-intensive. Two typical usage patterns are observed among our clients: 10 to 30 uses per day for an urban wellness center or a premium gym with a limited recovery area, and 50 to 150 plunges per day with 3 to 8 simultaneous users for a recovery center or a premium sports club with a wellness area and high footfall.
What to specify for a gym
A club operates under heavy use: frequent users, sweat and creams, and peak hours between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. The cold storage unit must maintain the temperature during the peak period, and the water must be continuously refreshed and treated.

The club must provide: a cooled technical room, 50 mm water inlet and outlet connections, a dedicated power supply, and nearby shower facilities. For multiple pools, each tank has its own cooling and treatment equipment, ensuring continued operation if one is undergoing maintenance.

The Ken Club is a premium sports club located at 100 avenue du Président Kennedy, overlooking the Seine in Paris’s 16th arrondissement. Open since 1986, it has just reopened its doors after four years of extensive renovations and a complete transformation. It offers weight training, cardio, group classes, swimming, cycling and boxing, along with a dedicated recovery area for its discerning clientele, now equipped with a PolarPlunge cold plunge.
Add a sauna to your recovery area
Cold plunges and saunas form the most sought-after recovery area for premium club members, justifying a higher subscription model. For clubs, the Horizon Large and Luxe models accommodate 5 to 6 people, with a built-in shower on the Signature and Luxe models. They are installed outdoors, on a terrace or in a courtyard, and are operated remotely. Tell us about your club and your membership numbers: we will provide the right configuration.
Maintenance and Service
Maintenance contract with our partner technicians, fixed-price service calls, components covered by a 2- to 5-year warranty depending on the part, spare parts available for at least 10 years. Remote Wi-Fi monitoring of temperatures and replacement cycles.
