Why a club installs a cold plunge pool
Recovery has become a membership argument: a cold plunge + sauna area justifies a premium tier and retains the most committed members. For a recovery centre, it's the treatment that is both most requested and least costly in staff time. Two typical regimes are seen among our clients: 10 to 30 uses per day for an urban wellness centre or premium gym with a limited recovery area, and 50 to 150 plunges per day with 3 to 8 simultaneous users for a recovery centre or premium sports club with a health hub and high footfall.
What to specify for a gym
A club runs under intensive use: close-together sessions, sweat and creams, peak attendance between 6 and 9 pm. The chiller must hold the temperature through the peak, and the water must be continuously renewed and treated.

For the club to arrange: air-conditioned plant room, Ø 50 mm water inlet and drain, dedicated electrical supply, nearby shower. For several tanks, each one has its own chiller and water-treatment equipment, so the facility keeps running if one is under maintenance.

The intensive configuration includes the tank, the professional heat pump, the chlorine dosing pump, the UV-C lamp, automatic renewal, the sand filter, the circulation pump and WiFi control. Commissioning €1,200 excl. VAT per tank. Financing over 1, 2 or 3 years is available through our financing partner, subject to approval.

How many people at once? From 1 (PRO 161) to 3 (PRO Rect 230 × 150). For a club with more than 1,500 members, plan for two tanks.
Can the chiller handle the evening peak? The intensive configuration is sized for 50 to 150 plunges per day; the PRO chiller never drops below 3 kW in pro use.
What lead time? 14 weeks for the intensive PRO range, 8 weeks for the catalogue range.
